Our Journey towards a just and equitable world
Our story began in 2016 with the ambition to advocate for evidence-based solutions and catalyze climate action in South Korea.
This led us to our first campaign, which led to a nationwide campaign network to phase out coal, and eventually helped end South Korea's public financing of overseas coal projects in 2021.
This is why SFOC is committed to holding polluters accountable and joining forces with the global climate movement to tackle the largest sources of greenhouse gas emissions and advocate for systemic change.
